Lumea is a Barcelona based filmmaking duo; Alexandra Meneghini (from France) and Elena du Pisanie (South Africa). 

 

With extensive training in documentary filmmaking, we are passionate about telling stories with a social impact.

At Lumea, we aim to combine our love for visual storytelling and our experience as documentary filmmakers to help creatives and brands tell their unique stories in a way that their clients and audiences will connect with.

Lumea Productions was formed shortly after working together on a production, La Luz Invisible, a documentary which we co-directed with a team of filmmakers at OTOXO Productions. Since then, the two of us have collaborated on dance films, music videos, commercial content and other shorts, including a dance documentary, Mi Tierra Entera.

Individual projects include Colors of Our Heart, a feature length documentary by Alexandra Meneghini and El Sastre by Elena du Pisanie.
